Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical curative effect of corn paste (salicylic acid and plenol plasters) combined with liquid nitrogen cryotherapy in the treatment of multiple verruca vulgaris. Methods From January 2020 to March 2021, 76 patients with multiple verruca vulgaris in the Department of Dermatology, the Eighth Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-Sen University were collected as the research objects. According to the random number table, they were randomly divided into an observation group and control group, with 38 cases in each group. Patients in control group were treated with treated liquid nitrogen cryotherapy, who in observation group were treated with corn paste combined with liquid nitrogen cryotherapy, course of treatment for six weeks. The clinical efficacy, adverse reactions, treatment pain intensity (NRS), recurrence and dermatology quality of life indexes(DLQI) of the two groups were compared after follow-up visit for six months. Results The recovery rate and total effective rate of warts in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the recovery time was shorter than that in the control group, the NRS score and the incidence of complications were lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); the wart recurrence rate and DLQI difference in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the recurrence time delay was higher than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Corn paste combined with liquid nitrogen cryotherapy have an idea clinical effect in the treatment of multiple verruca vulgaris, which have high cure rate, few complications, low long-term recurrence rate and better quality of life of patients.
