Abstract:Objective To measure and visualize the relevant literature on the treatment of atopic dermatitis with traditional Chinese medicine, and to explore its research hotspots and development trends, so as to provide some reference for its treatment. Methods The literature related to the treatment of atopic dermatitis with traditional Chinese medicine from June 2010 to June 2022 was retrieved from the database of China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI). CiteSpace 6.1.R2 software was used to analyze the co-occurrence, cluster and burst analysis of keywords, and the relevant maps were drawn. Results A total of 361 literatures were included, and the keywords involved were Chinese herbs, children, Longmu soup, clinical observation, syndrome differentiation and treatment, clinical research, acupuncture, quality of life, traditional Chinese medicine, TCM syndrome type, TCM bath, and traditional Chinese medicine. The hot keywords were children, syndrome differentiation and treatment, quality of life, Longmu decoction. The main clusters generated by cluster analysis were children, blood deficiency and wind dryness, Longmu decoction, syndrome differentiation, heart fire, quality of life, etc. The top three keywords of burst intensity were Longmu decoction, acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine, followed by medication rule, syndrome differentiation and treatment, traditional Chinese medicine, damp sore, blood deficiency and wind dryness, invigorating spleen and removing dampness. Conclusion The research hotspots of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of atopic dermatitis focus on children, blood deficiency and wind dryness, Longmu decoction, syndrome differentiation, heart fire, quality of life and so on.
