Abstract:Periapical cyst is the most common jaw cyst. Choosing the appropriate treatment can not only reduce the pain and trauma of patients, but also has an important impact on the prognosis of treatment. The treatment of periapical cystoid lesions is generally divided into two categories: surgical treatment and non-surgical treatment. Surgical treatment is usually suitable for periapical true cysts, while periapical pocket cysts can achieve better clinical results through non-surgical treatment. This article mainly reviews the non-surgical treatment of periapical cystoid lesions, in order to provide clinicians with more alternative treatment methods.
