Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of standardized enteral nutrition nursing on patients with severe burns. Methods From June 2021 to September 2022, 60 patients with severe burns and complications admitted to the Staff Hospital of Handan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into observation group and control group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nutrition nursing intervention, and the observation group was given standardized enteral nutrition nursing intervention. The clinical indicators, quality of life, nutritional status and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The wound healing time and positive nitrogen balance recovery time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The scores of physical function, social relationship, psychological function and general health status of the two groups after intervention were higher than those before intervention, and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The levels of transferrin, plasma albumin and plasma prealbumin in the two groups after intervention were higher than those before intervention, and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Standardized enteral nutrition nursing for patients with severe burns can not only enhance their nutritional level, increase their resistance and promote wound healing, but also improve their health quality of life after burns and reduce the risk of complications.
