VISIA skin detector is a non-invasive skin detection instrument with the highest recognition and practicability. Through the quantitative analysis of facial spots, wrinkles, deep pigments and skin erythema by percentile, score and feature count, the skin state can be evaluated and recorded comprehensively and objectively, guiding treatment decision, making and tracking treatment effect, which is of great significance to the skin diagnosis and market development of medical and cosmetic industry. However, in the traditional use, doctors only focus on the visual effect comparison of VISIA imaging, ignoring the data evaluation, and lacking the evidence of objective evaluation of skin condition, which has certain limitations. Therefore, this paper reviews the application of VISIA value in medical cosmetic industry, aiming to provide reference for clinicians to apply skin detector.
