Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine extract in longterm treatment of moderate and severe androgenic alopecia. Methods From December 2019 to May 2022, 80 patients with moderate to severe androgenetic alopecia admitted to the dermatology department of our hospital were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into observation group (n=40) and control group (n=40). The control group was treated with electroacupuncture, and the observation group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine extract on the basis of the control group. The TCM symptom scores and clinical efficacy of the two groups were compared.
