Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of different incisions on the aesthetic effect and sensory nerve function of areola area in patients with breast fibroma. Methods A total of 74 patients with breast fibroma admitted to our hospital from April 2020 to April 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 37 cases in each group. The control group was treated with traditional radial incision surgery, and the observation group was treated with ring areola incision surgery. The clinical indicators, areola aesthetic effect, areola area tactile, pain recovery time, areola sensory nerve function and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The operation time, intraoperative blood loss and scar length of the observation group were less than those of the control group (P <0.05). The scores of areola pigmentation, nipple sensation, incision scar and breast shape in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The recovery time of touch and pain in the areola area of the observation group was less than that of the control group (P <0.05). The proportion of normal sensory nerve function of areola in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the proportion of hypofunction and deficiency was lower than that in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 8.11%, which was lower than 21.62% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Different incisions have different effects on the aesthetic effect and sensory nerve function of areola area in patients with breast fibroma. The effect of ring areola incision is better than that of traditional radial incision, which can improve the aesthetic degree of breast and reduce the effect on the sensory nerve function of areola area. At the same time, it can shorten the recovery time of touch and pain in areola area and operation time. The intraoperative blood loss is small, the postoperative scar is slight, and the incidence of complications is small and the safety is high.
