Abstract:Objective To explore the application value of microdissection needle in the resection of benign lesions of soft palate mucosa. Methods A total of 28 patients with benign lesions of soft palate mucosa admitted to our hospital from January 2017 to January 2020 were randomly divided into experimental group (16 cases) and control group (12 cases). The experimental group used microdissection needle for surgery, and the control group used conventional electrodes for surgery. The operation time, complications and pain scores of soft palate masses were compared between the two groups. Results The operation time of the experimental group was shorter than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). There was no significant difference in postoperative bleeding and recurrence rate between the two groups (P >0.05). The pain scores of the experimental group on the 1st, 3rd and 7th day after operation were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion The application of microdissection needle in the resection of benign lesions of soft palate mucosa is effective, which can shorten the operation time, reduce postoperative complications, relieve the pain of patients, and is worthy of clinical application.
