Abstract:Eczema is a common disease in dermatology. It can occur at any age, but it is most common in children. Both traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine have extensive research on eczema, and there are similarities in the explanation of their etiology. Both Chinese and western medicine believe that improper diet is one of the causes of eczema ; there are also similarities between phlegm turbidity and blood stasis in traditional Chinese medicine and blood circulation disorder in western medicine. Therefore, the study of Chinese and Western medicine for eczema can provide more basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Chinese medicine believes that eczema is mainly caused by exogenous six evils, improper diet, exogenous wind evil, deficiency of both qi and blood, and emotional internal injuries. It is recommended to start from conditioning and treat it with traditional Chinese medicine to promote the smooth flow of meridians and improve the ability to resist allergies. Based on this, in order to further explore the related situation of infant eczema, this paper reviews the pathogenesis of eczema and the treatment of traditional Chinese and Western medicine, in order to provide some reference for clinical treatment.
