Abstract:Objective To compare the application effect of porcelain veneer and light-cured composite resin in oral cosmetic repair. Methods A total of 56 patients who underwent oral cosmetic repair in our hospital from March 2021 to June 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 28 cases in each group. The control group was treated with light-cured composite resin for oral cosmetic repair, and the observation group was treated with porcelain veneer for oral cosmetic repair. The effect of dental cosmetic repair, the levels of inflammatory factors [interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-8 (IL-8), tumor necrosis factor (TNF-α), interferon (INF-γ)] and gingival crevicular fluid indexes [ gingival crevicular fluid (GCF) level, matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2), matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9)] were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of cosmetic repair in the observation group was 96.43%, which was higher than 78.57% in the control group (P
