Abstract:Objective To analyze the execution of three batches of centralized drug procurement in our hospital, and provide reference for further improving the national centralized drug procurement work. Methods The hospital database was used to count and analyze the procurement volume of the first three batches of drugs that had been collected, calculate the defined daily cost (DDC), and the DDC decrease before and after the implementation of the drug procurement. Results The first three batches signed 16 conventional varieties, 5 varieties did not complete the contracted quantity. The DDC of three varieties decreased by less than 20 %, which were dexmedetomidine hydrochloride injection, finasteride tablets and sodium bicarbonate tablets. The DDC of 8 varieties decreased by more than 80 % were amoxicillin capsules, azithromycin capsules, fluconazole tablets, moxifloxacin hydrochloride tablets, levocetirizine hydrochloride tablets, clarithromycin tablets, cetirizine hydrochloride tablets and desloratadine tablets. Conclusion Our hospital still needs to make active efforts in implementing the relevant system and work of national centralized procurement of drugs. The three batches of drugs purchased in bulk have effectively improved the economy and accessibility of patient medication with low prices and high quality.
