Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of microscrew anchorage implant in orthodontic patients. Methods Sixty patients who underwent orthodontics in our hospital from March 2020 to March 2022 were randomly divided into control group and experimental group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with traditional strong anchorage for orthodontics, and the experimental group was treated with micro-screw anchorage implant for orthodontics. The tooth condition, oral function score and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The molar displacement, convex distance difference of upper and lower central incisors and inclination angle difference of upper central incisors in the experimental group were better than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant ( P <0.05). The scores of masticatory ability, retention ability, aesthetics, speech ability and comfort in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant ( P <0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant ( P <0.05). Conclusion The application of microscrew anchorage implant in orthodontics is effective, which can effectively improve the patient's teeth condition and oral function. Meanwhile, the incidence of adverse reactions is small and the safety is high.
