Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of traditional Chinese medicine mask combined with acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of chloasma. Methods Sixty patients with chloasma admitted to ouraffiliatedhospital from February to December 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 30 patients in each group. The control group was treated with conventional western medicine, and the observation group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine mask combined with acupuncture and moxibustion on the basis of the control group. The chloasma severity index, serum index, brown spot and red area were compared between the two groups. Results The MASI score of the two groups after treatment was lower than that before treatment, and that in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant ( P <0.05). After treatment, the level of SOD in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the levels of MDA and E3 were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant ( P <0.05). After treatment, the brown spot score and red distinction value of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( P <0.05). Conclusion The clinical effect of traditional Chinese medicine mask combined with acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of chloasma is good, which can effectively reduce the chloasma index of patients, regulate serum indexes, and reduce the brown spots and red areas of patients' faces, effectively improve their clinical symptoms and promote the recovery of skin lesions.
