Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of Meirong Xiaoban Decoction combined with hydroquinone cream in chloasma patients with liver-qi stagnation type. Methods A total of 96 chloasma patients with liver-qi stagnation type admitted to Jinan Zhangqiu District Hospital of TCMedicine from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into study group and control group by random number table method, with 48 patients in each group. The control group was treated with hydroquinone cream, and the study group was treated with patients combined with hydroquinone cream. The clinical efficacy, skin lesion status and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 93.75%, which was higher than 77.08% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( P <0.05). After treatment, the scores of skin lesion color and skin lesion area in the study group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant ( P <0.05). After treatment, the scores of daily activities, physiological state, psychological state and social entertainment in the study group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant ( P <0.05). Conclusion The clinical effect of Meirong Xiaoban Decoction combined with hydroquinone cream in the treatment of chloasma patients with liver-qi stagnation type is good, which can effectively improve the skin lesions of patients and improve their quality of life.
