Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of type A botulinum toxin combined with sodium hyaluronate microplastic injection in reshaping facial contour. Methods A total of 60 patients with facial contour remodeling in our hospital from October 2021 to November 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into group A, group B and group C by random number table method, with 20 patients in each group. Group A was injected with botulinum toxin alone, group B was injected with hyaluronic acid alone, and group C was injected with botulinum toxin combined with hyaluronic acid. The changes of lower facial contour, morphological improvement effect, treatment satisfaction and adverse reactions were compared among the three groups. Results The lower face width, lower face length, lower face width/ lower face length, middle face length and chin angle of group C were better than those of group A and group B ( P <0.05). The total effective rate of morphological improvement in group C was higher than that in group A and group B ( P <0.05). The satisfaction of treatment in group C was higher than that in group A and group B ( P <0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions among the three groups ( P >0.05). Conclusion Type A botulinum toxin combined with sodium hyaluronate microplastic injection has a definite application effect in reshaping facial contour. It has a good effect on improving the facial contour shape of patients, and will not increase the risk of adverse reactions. Meanwhile, it has high patient satisfaction.
