Abstract:Objective To analyze the clinical effect of pricking and cupping and warming needle moxibustion in the treatment of eczema patients. Methods A total of 80 patients with eczema diagnosed and treated in the Department of Dermatology of Traditional Chinese Medicine of our hospital from February 2022 to February 2023 were selected as the research objects and randomly divided into control group and study group, with 40 patients in each group. The control group was treated with basic treatment, and the study group was treated with warming needle moxibustion combined with pricking and cupping. The clinical efficacy, itching relief effect, eczema symptoms score (EASI score), serum inflammatory factor levels and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 100.00%, which was higher than 82.50% in the control group ( P <0.05). The remission rate of pruritus in the study group was higher than that in the control group ( P <0.05). The EASI scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group at 3 and 7 days after treatment ( P <0.05). The CRP index of the study group was lower than that of the control group after treatment ( P <0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was 2.50%, which was lower than 20.00% in the control group ( P <0.05). Conclusion Warming needle moxibustion combined with pricking and cupping has a good clinical effect in the treatment of eczema, which can effectively alleviate the itching and eczema symptoms of patients, and is conducive to improving the level of serum inflammatory factors. Meanwhile, it has fewer adverse reactions and higher safety after treatment, which is worthy of clinical application.
