Abstract:Objective To explore the effect and safety of autologous auricular cartilage in the treatment of nasal tip flat in rhinoplasty. Methods A total of 100 patients who underwent rhinoplasty in Nanyang Nanshi Hospital Affiliated to Henan University from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with nasal plastic surgery with bulk prosthesis filling, and the observation group was treated with nasal plastic surgery with autologous ear cartilage. The clinical efficacy, nasal morphology improvement and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of clinical treatment in the observation group was 94.00%, which was higher than 80.00% in the control group ( P <0.05). The postoperative nasal length, nasal tip height, nasal tip angle and nasal tip width in the observation group were better than those in the control group ( P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 4.00%, which was lower than 22.00% in the control group ( P <0.05). Conclusion The application of autologous auricular cartilage in rhinoplasty for the treatment of nasal tip flat can effectively improve the nasal length and nasal tip, improve the therapeutic effect, and have fewer complications.
