Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of spouse participation mode on blood glucose fluctuation and wound aesthetics during pregnancy in pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus. Methods A total of 90 pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus who were registered and delivered in Nanjing Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital from April 2021 to February 2022 were randomly divided into control group ( n =45) and observation group ( n =45). The control group was treated according to the routine process of obstetric nursing, and the observation group increased the spouse participation mode on the basis of the control group. The wound scar condition, fasting and 2 h postprandial blood glucose during pregnancy, and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results The scar score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group ( P <0.05). The fasting blood glucose and 2 h postpartum blood glucose in the observation group were lower than those in the control group ( P <0.05). The quality of life score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group ( P <0.05). Conclusion The blood glucose of pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus during pregnancy is controlled under the mode of spouse participation, which can improve the quality of life of pregnant women and promote the beauty of wounds. It is worthy of clinical application.
