BOPPPS teaching mode is a new teaching mode which is oriented by educational objective and student-centered. Nowadays, in order to effectively improve the teaching quality of applied optics for optometry and mobilize students' learning ability and skill level, BOPPPS teaching mode has been gradually introduced into the teaching of applied optics for optometry. In this paper, the BOPPPS teaching mode of applied optics for optometry is studied in depth, and the BOPPPS teaching mode is introduced. According to the existing literature, the problems of applied optics for optometry teaching are analyzed, and the application status and specific advantages of the BOPPPS teaching mode of optometry applied optics are expounded, in order to provide some reference for related research.
