Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of anterolateral femoral flap (AFF) in the repair of complex wounds of limbs. Methods A total of 30 patients with complex skin and soft tissue injury of limbs admitted from January to October 2021 were selected as the research objects. All patients were treated with AFF, and the flap survival after treatment and the recovery after 6 months were observed. Results All the flaps of 30 patients survived after AFF treatment. There were 2 patients with partial necrosis of the edge of the flap, which were cured after relevant treatment intervention. Arterial crisis occurred in 3 patients on the second day after operation, and the flaps survived after vascular anastomosis and blood circulation reconstruction through timely surgical exploration. After 6 months of follow-up, the color and appearance of the flaps of all patients were good, and there was no ulceration. Conclusion AFF is effective in the repair of complex wounds of limbs. It has the characteristics of simple cutting, less functional damage of donor site, good blood supply and large cutting area, and has high application value.
