Healthy and attractive skin is often full, ruddy, smooth, delicate, glossy and other characteristics. Glossiness is an important indicator of skin health, and the lack of glossiness is often dry, rough, dark. However, the skin characteristics related to gloss have not received enough attention, and the corresponding mechanism research is less. This paper summarizes the research progress of skin glossiness at home and abroad from three aspects: tissue optics, influencing factors and test methods, in order to provide reference for skin whitening, brightening, nourishing and other related efficacy design.
