Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of tilted implant in patients with insufficient bone mass in maxillary posterior region. Methods A total of 86 patients with insufficient bone mass in the maxillary posterior region who underwent dental implant surgery in our hospital from March 2020 to March 2022 were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and study group, with 43 patients in each group. The control group was treated with conventional implant, and the study group was treated with tilted implant. The clinical efficacy, psychological status, periodontal index and treatment satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 93.02%, which was higher than 86.05% in the control group (P<0.05). The SAS score and SDS score of the study group were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). PD, GI, SBI and MD in the study group were better than those in the control group (P<0.05). The treatment satisfaction of the study group was 95.35%, which was higher than 88.37% of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of tilted implant in patients with insufficient bone mass in the maxillary posterior region is effective, which can effectively improve the periodontal index of patients, reduce their anxiety and depression, and improve the satisfaction of treatment.
