Abstract:Objective To investigate the e?ects of oral implant restoration treatment in patients with dentition defects. Methods A total of 84 patients with dentition defect admitted to Hangzhou Lin'an District Stomatological Hospital from February 2021 to February 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into reference group and experimental group by random number table method, with 42 patients in each group. The reference group was treated with fxed partial denture restoration, and the experimental group was treated with oral implant restoration. The clinical efcacy, bite force, oral function and satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results The total e?ective rate of treatment in the experimental group was 95.24%, which was higher than 73.81% in the reference group, and the di?erence was statistically signifcant (P<0.05). After treatment, the bite force of the experimental group was better than that of the reference group, and the di?erence was statistically signifcant (P<0.05). The scores of language, retention, chewing, aesthetics and comfort in the experimental group were better than those in the reference group, and the di?erences were statistically signifcant (P<0.05). The satisfaction of the experimental group was 97.62%, which was higher than 73.81% of the reference group, and the di?erence was statistically signifcant (P<0.05). Conclusion Oral implant restoration treatment can improve the bite force of patients with dentition defect, improve their dental function and patient satisfaction.
