Abstract:Objective To compare the e?ectiveness and safety of all-ceramic crowns and metallo-ceramic crown in the restoration of dental defects. Method A total of 56 patients with dental defects who underwent dental restoration in our hospital from April 2019 to April 2020 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 28 patients in each group. The control group was treated with traditional metallo-ceramic crown restoration, and the observation group was treated with zirconia allceramic crown. The clinical efcacy, gingival in?ammation index, gingival edge tightness, color matching and shape qualifcation were compared between the two groups. Results The total e?ective rate of the observation group was 92.86%, which was higher than 67.86% of the control group (P<0.05). The proportion of gingival index grade 0 in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). The gingival margin ft, color matching and shape qualifcation rate of the observation group were better than those of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Compared to metallo-ceramic crown, all-ceramic crowns have better clinical e?ects, which can improve the restoration e?ect, optimize the appearance aesthetics, improve the success rate of restoration, and have less interference with gingival tissue, with higher safety and better prognosis.
