Objective To explore the clinical e?ect of Taohong Siwu decoction in the treatment of psoriasis patients with qi stagnation and blood stasis type. Methods A total of 110 psoriasis patients with qi stagnation and blood stasis type admitted to our hospital from May 2019 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects. According to di?erent treatment methods, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 55 patients in each group. The control group was given routine treatment, and the observation group was treated with Taohong Siwu decoction on the basis of the control group. The PASI score, total score of TCM symptoms, clinical efcacy, treatment satisfaction and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the PASI score and the total score of TCM symptoms in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The total e?ective rate of treatment in the observation group was 98.18%, which was higher than 81.82% in the control group (P<0.05). The treatment satisfaction of the observation group was 96.36%, which was higher than 81.82% of the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the scores of quality of life in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The clinical e?ect of Taohong Siwu decoction in the treatment of psoriasis patients with qi stagnation and blood stasis type is ideal, which can e?ectively improve the area and severity of skin lesions, reduce clinical symptoms and promote recovery. Meanwhile, it has positive signifcance for improving the quality of life and treatment satisfaction of patients, which is worthy of clinical application.
