Abstract:Objective To explore the application of modifed auricular cartilage nasal septum extended graft (SEG) stent in rhinoplasty. Methods A total of 70 patients with rhinoplasty admitted to our hospital from May 2021 to January 2023 were selected as the research objects, and they were randomly divided into control group (n=35) and observation group (n=35). The control group was treated with expanded polytetra?uoroethylene prosthesis, and the observation group was treated with modifed auricular cartilage SEG scaffold. The quality of incision healing, nasal aesthetic index and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results The grade I healing rate of the observation group was 74.29%, which was higher than 48.57% of the control group, and the di?erence was statistically signifcant (P<0.05). The length, height, protrusion and nasolabial angle of the nasal tip in the observation group were better than those in the control group, and the di?erences were statistically signifcant (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 2.86%, which was lower than 25.71% in the control group, and the di?erence was statistically signifcant (P<0.05). Conclusion Modifed auricular cartilage SEG stent for rhinoplasty has a good healing e?ect, which can e?ectively improve the aesthetic index of the nose, and the incidence of complications is low.
