Abstract:Objective To explore the application e?ect of high quality surgical nursing in plastic repair surgery based on multiple maxillofacial fractures caused by trauma. Methods A total of 80 patients with multiple maxillofacial fractures admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to January 2023 were randomly divided into control group and study group, with 40 patients in each group. Both groups were treated with plastic repair surgery. The control group was given routine nursing, and the study group was given high quality surgical nursing on the basis of the control group. The surgical indicators, surgical complications, quality of life and plastic repair satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The time of getting out of bed and hospitalization in the study group were shorter than those in the control group, the infusion volume was less than that in the control group, and the mouth opening was greater than that in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the study group was 5.00%, which was lower than 20.00% in the control group (P<0.05). The quality of life scores of the study group were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). The plastic repair satisfaction of the study group was 97.50%, which was higher than 82.50% of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion High quality surgical nursing is effective in the repair of multiple maxillofacial fractures caused by trauma, which can improve the prognosis, reduce the incidence of complications, improve the quality of life, and have high patient satisfaction.
