Rosacea is a chronic in?ammatory skin disease that occurs in the middle of the face and is clinically common, but treatment is limited and unsatisfactory. At present, Western medicine's understanding of the disease is still not perfect, the etiology and pathogenesis are not clear. Traditional Chinese medicine has its own views on the diagnosis and treatment of the disease, Traditional Chinese medicine treatment has certain clinical e?ects, but the treatment ideas are di?erent, there is no standardized treatment system, and the long-term efficacy and safety cannot be determined. This review mainly summarizes the clinical manifestations, pathogenesis, Western medicine treatment status of rosacea, the understanding of the etiology and pathogenesis of rosacea in ancient Chinese medicine and the current status of modern Chinese medicine treatment, in order to provide systematic and comprehensive diagnosis and treatment data for the diagnosis and treatment of clinical rosacea.
