Abstract:Actinic keratosis (AK), also known as actinic keratosis, is currently considered to be a precancerous lesion of the skin and has the risk of transforming into squamous cell carcinoma. It is more common in middle-aged men. Skin lesions are more common in the face, scalp, forearm extension, hand back and other solar exposure sites. The incidence of AK is mainly related to ultraviolet exposure, especially UVB, and is also related to gender, age, genetic susceptibility, and immunosuppression. In recent years, photodynamic therapy (PDT) has gradually entered people's feld of vision as a new treatment method, and has been widely used in AK treatment. This article mainly reviews the research progress of PDT in the treatment of AK, clarifes the potential and role of PDT in the treatment of NFK, and provides some guidance for clinical practice and future research.
