Abstract:To analyze the application effect of iRoot BP Plus apical barrier in adult patients with open permanent teeth. Methods From May 2021 to May 2022, 90 adult patients with open apical permanent teeth admitted to the First Department of Dental Pulp, Handan City Stomatological Hospital were randomly divided into control group and study group, with 45 patients in each group. The control group was treated with revascularization, and the study group was treated with iRoot BP Plus apical barrier. The clinical outcome indicators and clinical efficacy of the two groups were compared. Results The masticatory function recovery time, lesion healing time and average treatment cycle of the study group were shorter than those of the control group, and the average treatment times were less than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 95.56%, which was higher than 82.22% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion In the treatment of adult patients with apical open permanent teeth, iRoot BP Plus apical barrier surgery can effectively shorten the healing time of lesions, the recovery time of masticatory function, the treatment cycle and the number of treatments, and improve the clinical treatment effect.
