Abstract:To explore the value of continuous nursing in the prevention of scar hyperplasia in burn patients. Methods A total of 160 burn patients admitted to our hospital from July 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 80 patients in each group. The control group was given routine discharge nursing guidance, and the observation group was given continuous nursing on the basis of the control group. The scar hyperplasia, acceptance of disability and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results The VSS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The ADS-R score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The BSHS-B score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion Continuous nursing can effectively prevent scar hyperplasia for burn patients, improve patients' acceptance of disability, and promote the improvement of quality of life.
