Abstract:To analyze the clinical effect of orthodontic treatment of anterior teeth displacement caused by periodontal disease. Methods A total of 82 patients with anterior tooth displacement caused by periodontal disease admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Vocational Technical College from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected and divided into observation group and control group according to different treatment methods, with 41 patients in each group. The observation group received combined periodontal orthodontic treatment, and the control group received simple periodontal basic treatment. The periodontal indexes, clinical efficacy and treatment satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the periodontal pocket depth, anterior teeth coverage and periodontal bleeding index of the observation group were better than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). The total effective rate of clinical treatment in the observation group was 92.68%, which was better than 73.17% in the control group (P <0.05). The satisfaction score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Orthodontic treatment has a positive effect on improving periodontal index, clinical treatment effect and satisfaction of patients with anterior teeth displacement caused by periodontal disease, which is worthy of clinical application.
