To analyze the effect of plastic and cosmetic repair surgery on patients with lower eyelid relaxation. Methods From January 2021 to January 2022, 100 patients with lower eyelid relaxation admitted to Duyun Dr.Zheng Beau Care Clinics were selected as the subjects of this study. They were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 50 patients in each group. The control group received traditional double eyelid surgery, and the observation group received plastic and cosmetic repair surgery. The clinical efficacy, quality of life, occurrence of mild lower eyelid ectropion and treatment satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 98.00%, which was higher than 78.00% in the control group (P <0.05). The scores of social function, material life, mental health and physical health in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of mild lower eyelid ectropion in the observation group was 4.00%, which was lower than 14.00% in the control group (P <0.05). The treatment satisfaction of the observation group was 92.00%, which was higher than 80.00% of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Plastic and cosmetic repair surgery is effective in the treatment of lower eyelid relaxation, with high effectiveness and safety. Meanwhile, the overall efficacy is satisfactory, and the incidence of mild lower eyelid ectropion after surgery is low, with a certain eye rejuvenation effect.
