Abstract:To explore the effectiveness of aesthetic restoration combined with orthodontic treatment of hag teeth. Methods A total of 78 patients with hag teeth admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to March 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 39 patientsin each group. The control group was treated with aesthetic restoration, and the observation group was treated with aesthetic restoration combined with orthodontic treatment. The masticatory and pronunciation function, aesthetic effect, clinical efficacy and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The masticatory and pronunciation function scores of the observation group was higher than those of the control group after treatment (P <0.05). The proportion of aligned, covered and normal occlusion in the observation group was higher than that of the control group after treatment (P <0.05). The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 94.87%, which was higher than 58.97% of the control group (P <0.05). The incidence rate of adverse reactions in the observation group was 5.13%, which was lower than 46.15% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The overall therapeutic effect of aesthetic restoration combined with orthodontic treatment for patients with hag teethis good, which is conducive to improving the overall aesthetics of the oral cavity, improving the oral function of patients and reducing the risk of adverse events.
