Abstract:To study the application effect of porcelain veneer and all-ceramic crown in oral cosmetic restoration. Methods A total of 80 patients with oral cosmetic restoration treated in our hospital from February to September 2022 were selected, and divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method, with 40 patients in each group. The control group was treated with all-ceramic crown restoration, and the observation group was treated with porcelain veneer restoration. The periodontal pocket depth, gingival bleeding index, attachment loss, cosmetic repair effect, repair satisfaction and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the periodontal pocket depth, gingival bleeding index and attachment loss in the observation group were better than those in the control group (P <0.05). After treatmant, the color score, shape score, semi-transparency score and edge beauty score of the observation group were higher than those of the control group (P <0.05). The repair satisfaction of the observation group was 97.50%, which was higher than 85.00% of the control group (P <0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of complications between the observation group and the control group (P >0.05). Conclusion The application of porcelain veneer in oral cosmetic restoration has better repair effect, which can better improve periodontal function and has good safety.
