Abstract:To analyze the corrective effect of block costal cartilage graft on patients with nasal base depression during rhinoplasty. Methods A total of 100 patients with nasal base depression who underwent rhinoplasty in our hospital from May 2021 to May 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 50 patients in each group. The control group was treated with granular costal cartilage correction, and the observation group was treated with block costal cartilage correction. The nasal aesthetic angle measurement, complications and satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The upper lip angle of the columella, the lobule angle of the columella, the nasal facial angle and the nasal frontal angle in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 4.00%, which was lower than 20.00% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The satisfaction rate of the observation group was 100.00%, which was higher than 80.00% of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion The block costal cartilage graft has a good clinical effect in the correction of nasal base depression during rhinoplasty, which can improve the depression symptoms and the aesthetic effect of the nose. Meanwhile, the incidence of postoperative complications is lower and the patient satisfaction is higher.
