Abstract:To explore and analyze the effect of zirconia restorations in oral restoration. Methods A total of 70 patients who underwent oral restoration in our hospital from January to December 2022 were selected as the research subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method, with 35 patients in each group. The control group used nickel chromium alloy restorations for oral restoration, while the observation group used zirconia restorations for oral restoration. The masticatory function, dental cosmetic scores and the effect of oral restoration were compared between the two groups. Results The bite force and masticatory efficiency of the teeth in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The scores of tooth color aesthetics, tooth shape and symmetry, tooth arrangement and gap, and tooth surface texture in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The excellent and good rate of oral restoration in the observation group was 88.57%, which was higher than 65.71% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Zirconia restorations have a significant effect on oral restoration, not only improving the patient's occlusal function, but also enhancing their aesthetic appearance, with ideal oral restoration effect.
