Abstract:To explore the application effect of fixed denture in oral restoration treatment. Methods A total of 395 patients who received oral restoration treatment in our hospital from September 2022 to July 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into group A (197 patients) and group B (198 patients) by random number table method. Group A was treated with fixed denture repair, group B was treated with removable denture repair. The beauty and cleanliness of teeth, clinical efficacy, tooth wear and damage to adjacent teeth were compared between the two groups after treatment. Results After treatment, the scores of tooth beauty and cleanliness in group A were higher than those in group B (P <0.05). The tooth wear rate and adjacent tooth damage rate in group A were higher than those in group B (P <0.05). After treatment, the scores of retention, speech, mastication and comfort in group A were higher than those in group B (P <0.05). Conclusion The effect of fixed denture in oral restoration treatment is better. After intervention, the aesthetics and cleanliness of teeth are higher, which can effectively promote the recovery of masticatory function. However, fixed denture may cause some damage to tooth wear and adjacent teeth. Clinically, it should be reasonably selected according to the specific conditions of patients to ensure the therapeutic effect.
