Abstract:To study the effect ofindividualized health education andmental nursing in patients with psoriasis. Methods A total of 50 patients with psoriasis admitted to our hospital from June 2022 to June 2023 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 25 patients in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given individualized health education combined with mental nursing. The mastery of health knowledge, mental state and severity of psoriasis were compared between the two groups. Results After nursing, the scores of knowledge, attitude and behavior in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). The SAS score and SDS score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). The PASI scores of the observation group on the 4th, 8th and 12th week of nursing were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion The application of individualized health education combined with mental nursing in patients with psoriasis is effective, which can effectively improve patients' mastery of health knowledge content, improve their mental state and condition, and is worthy of clinical application.
