To study the application effect of ceramic laminate veneer and porcelain crown in oral aesthetic restoration. Methods Sixty patients who underwent oral aesthetic restoration in our hospital from May 2022 to May 2023 were selected. The patients were divided into control group and experimental group by random number table method, with 30 patients in each group. The control group was treated with porcelain crown restoration, and the experimental group was treated with ceramic laminate veneer restoration. The clinical efficacy, masticatory function, pain, periodontal condition and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the experimental group was 96.67%, which was higher than 83.33% in the control group (P <0.05). The bite force, masticatory efficiency, VAS score, PD, BI and AL in the experimental group were better than those in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the experimental group was 3.33%, which was lower than 13.33% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The effect of oral aesthetic restoration with ceramic laminate veneeris better than that of porcelain crown, and it has good aesthetics, good oral function recovery, and lower stimulation to periodontal tissue, which is worthy of clinical application.
