Abstract:To analyze the effect of orthodontic combined with implant restoration in the treatment of congenital missing teeth. Methods Sixty patients with congenital missing teeth admitted to our hospital from January 2020 to May 2022 were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 30 patients in each group. The control group was treated with conventional implant restoration, and the observation group was treated with orthodontics combined with implant restoration. The oral function, aesthetic effect, correction satisfaction and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the scores of language function, chewing function and swallowing function in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). After treatment, the scores of WES and PES in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The correction satisfaction of the observation group was 96.67%, which was higher than 76.67% of the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 3.33%, which was lower than 20.00% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The application of orthodontics combined with implant restoration in the treatment of congenital missing teeth is effective, which can effectively improve the oral function of patients and enhance the aesthetic effect. The incidence of adverse reactions after repair is small, and the patient's correction satisfaction is high.
