Abstract:To explore the development trend and potential of medical beauty in our city, to formulate a characteristic plan in line with the development of medical beauty market, and to improve the level of medical beauty service in our city. Methods A total of 378 questionnaires were collected by means of online and paper questionnaires. The survey included basic information of the population, demand for medical beauty, recognition, purchasing power, and types of medical beauty projects required. According to the statistical analysis of the results, the selling points and pain points of the development of the medical beauty market in our city are analyzed. Results Among the survey population, 81.65% of them recognized medical beauty, and the demand for light medical beauty projects was relatively high; 47% of them had an income of 3000-5000 yuan, of which 61.34% were willing to spend 5%-10% of their monthly income on medical and beauty projects; 83% of the them were more inclined to choose public hospitals with reliable qualifications. Conclusion The development of medical beauty market in our city is consistent with the current situation of national medical beauty development, but it also has its own particularity. The city's medical beauty started relatively late, and consumers' awareness of the medical beauty industry needs to be further improved. According to the current income and consumption level, it is currently suitable for the development of low-end medical beauty projects, such as photorejuvenation, botulism, water and light.
