To analyze the application effect of high quality nursing in patients with subcutaneous cosmetic suture after cesarean section. Methods From January 2022 to June 2023, 50 patients who underwent subcutaneous cosmetic suture after cesarean section in Obstetrics Department of Women's Hospital of Nanjing Medical University/Nanjing Maternity and Child Health Care Hospital were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 25 patients in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given high-quality nursing. The wound healing time, psychological state, width and thickness of wound scar 3 months after operation were compared between the two groups. Results The wound healing time of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group, and the SAS and SDS scores were lower than those of the control group (P <0.05). The width and thickness of wound scar in the observation group were smaller than those in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion High quality nursing for patients undergoing subcutaneous cosmetic suture after cesarean section can shorten the time of wound suture and healing, reduce the width and thickness of postoperative scar, and improve the quality of wound healing.
