Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of individual nursing after oral and maxillofacial surgery. Methods A total of 66 patients with oral and maxillofacial surgery admitted to our hospital from May 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 33 patients in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given individual nursing. The oral cleanliness, nursing satisfaction and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The excellent and good rate of oral cleaning in the observation group was 93.94%, which was higher than 75.76% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 96.97%, which was higher than 81.82% of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 3.03%, which was lower than 21.21% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion The effect of individual nursing for patients after oral and maxillofacial surgery is ideal, which can effectively improve the degree of oral cleanliness, reduce the incidence of postoperative complications and improve nursing satisfaction.
