Abstract:Objective To explore the aestheticeffect of orthodontic combined with oral implantation therapy in patients with dentition defect. Methods A total of 82 patients with dentition defect admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were randomly divided into control group and experimental group, with 41 patientsin each group. The control group was treated with oral implantation alone, and the experimental group was treated with orthodontics combined with oral implantation. The clinical efficacy, oral function and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the experimental group was 95.12%, which was higher than 80.49% in the control group (P <0.05). The scores of pronunciation function, masticatoryfunction and aesthetics in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the experimental group was 7.32%, which was lower than 24.39% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Theaesthetic effect of orthodontics combined with oral implantation in the treatment of dentition defect is definite, which can effectively improve the pronunciation function and masticatory function of patients, improve the aesthetics of teeth, and help to reduce the incidence of adverse reactions.
