Abstract:Objective To compare the effect of flap and non-flap technique in oral implantation. Methods A total of 80 patients who underwent oral implantation in Suzhou Stomatological Hospital from January 2021 to October 2023 were selected as the research objects. According to different oral implantation methods, they were divided into group A and group B, with 40patients in each group. Group A was treated with flap technique, and group B was treated with non-flap technique. The perioperative indexes, pain degree, tooth aesthetics, complication rate and planting success rate were compared between the two groups. Results The operation time, postoperative pain duration and postoperative swelling duration in group B were shorter than those in group A (P <0.05). The VAS score of group B was lower than that of group A (P <0.05). The success rate of implantation in group B was 97.50%, which was higher than 90.00% in group A, but the difference was not statistically significant (P >0.05). The incidence of complications in group B was 2.50%, which was lower than 22.50% in group A (P <0.05). The PES score and WES score of group B were higher than those of group A (P <0.05). Conclusion The flap technique and non-flap technique can achieve ideal results in oral implantation, especially the non-flap technique, which is more conducive to shortening the operation time and the duration of postoperative pain and swelling, and promoting the postoperative rehabilitation process. Meanwhile, the incidence of postoperative complications is small, and the aesthetic degree of teeth is high.
