Abstract:Objective To analyze the application effect of orthodontic straight wire appliance technology combined with porcelain veneer in aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth. Methods A total of 90 patients with aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth admitted to the Department of Stomatology, Hanzhong People's Hospital from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected as the research objects. According to the treatment methods, they were divided into control group and experimental group, with 45 patients in each group. The control group was given traditional porcelain crown restoration, and the experimental group was given orthodontic straight wire appliance combined with porcelain veneer. The success rate of tooth repair, gingival status, repair satisfaction and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The success rate of tooth repair in the experimental group was 97.78%, which was higher than 84.44% in the control group (P <0.05). The gingival status of the experimental group was better than that of the control group (P <0.05). The repair satisfaction of the experimental group was 95.56%, which was higher than 77.78% of the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the experimental group was 4.44%, which was lower than 6.67% in the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant (P >0.05). Conclusion Orthodontic straight wire appliance combined with porcelain veneer can improve the success rate and satisfaction of dental restoration, improve gingival status and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions.
