With the development of science and technology, digital technologies such as intraoral scanning technology, computeraided design and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technology have been widely used in stomatology, which has changed the treatment mode of traditional stomatology. It can provide patients with comfortable and personalized treatment, which is in line with the principle of diagnosis and treatment of oral diseases in children. However, at present, dentists know little about the clinical application of digital technology in pediatric dentistry. This article reviews the application progress of digital technology in clinical examination and treatment of pediatric dentistry, in order to improve the understanding and cognition of dentists on related content, and provide some reference for promoting the clinical application of digital technology in pediatric dentistry.
