To compare the application effects of implant restoration and fixed bridge restoration in the treatment of dental defects. Method: 78 patients with dental defects admitted to our hospital from April 2023 to April 2024 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into a control group and a study group according to the drawing method. The control group received fixed bridge restoration treatment, while the study group received implant restoration treatment. The total effective rate of restoration, oral function, and incidence of adverse risk events were compared. Result: After treatment, the total effective rate of repair in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05); The oral function score of the research group was higher than that of the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05); The incidence of adverse risk events in the research group was significantly lower than that in the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion: Implementing oral implant restoration treatment for dental defects can effectively improve patients"" disease symptoms, improve their chewing function after restoration, and reduce the incidence of adverse events after restoration. It is recommended.
