The radiotherapy of scar is an important measure to control scar hyperplasia, which has been paid more and more attention by clinicians in recent years. However, due to some clinicians do not understand or misunderstand the radiotherapy of scars, the clinical application of this method to control scar hyperplasia is not standardized. Therefore, this paper puts forward some suggestions on the radiotherapy guidelines of scar. Through the overview of scar radiotherapy, suitable for the control of skin scar hyperplasia radiation, radiation therapy to inhibit scar hyperplasia mechanism of action, radiation therapy scar indications and contraindications, scar radiotherapy plan and course of treatment, radiation therapy for keloid recurrence control, radiation therapy after skin reaction, radiation therapy may appear adverse reactions, suggestions for children scar radiotherapy, scar radiotherapy and malignant tumor radiotherapy differences in detail, in order to provide a reference for the clinical application of radiation therapy in the treatment of scar.
